So you have your website or just thinking about one, but what use is it if your potential customers have no idea you exist. Sure Google will help you part of the way however thats not always enough to maximize your profit margins.

Make use of your existing client base

The more direct and common approach today is mass emailing your existing and potential customers with your special offers and announcements. It's a great deal cheaper than traditional marketing by post or other direct marketing techniques. If you already have client data sitting doing nothing then thats just a simple loss in revenue for your business and a potential gain for your rivals.

Statistics

Statistics show that 3 to 7 percent of mass marketed emails are clicked on. Say for example, you sell a product or service for £50 then your earnings could be between £150 to £350 for sending only 100 emails. Times this by five, at 500 emails, and the figures are very appealing when you realise the very low cost involved in email marketing!

The cost

Costs vary according to whether you wish us, ACS (Advanced Computer Solutions), to design your email template or if you have the ability to produce your own documents. Each email costs 10 pence to send. Thats 10 pence per recipient or email address. So if we do a simple calculation that means:

100 emails = only  £10 with a potential of 3 to 7 customers

500 emails = only  £50 with a potential for 15 to 35 customers

........................and so on.

Even in the odd event where you only get that 1 customer per 100 emails it's still worth the effort financially and also to emphasise your presence.
